8K monitors, when ??

When do you think 8K monitors will be in market for a new gaming experience, especislly with gpu like RTX 3090 ??

Why? It's pointless. The 3090 can do 8k, but not at a playable frame rate.

Beyond the fact you can't really power them on anything beyond easy to run games, on a monitor sized screen m4k is very high res, 8k is more for giant TV screens, I have an 86 inch 4k panel and 8k would be very nice for it, but, much below that size? It's kind of a waste, or if you dut a sane distance from it.

It can and pretty sure you can get them for professional work, but it's pretty pointless below that, especially for gaming.

You would need to look for bigger than 32" imo, 8k would be better suited to a big screen and probably not good on a smaller one. 32" for 8k would be like buying a 3090 to run notepad.

They would be pointless, not just because of you not being able to view it properly, but also the fact that it would take too much power with no real gain from the used power.

1440p is the perfect compromise atm and it suits with how big people´s monitors are and how far away they sit.. (personal preference) a long with still being good at performance

I did not get RTX 3090 to have 1440p. Come on ....

There are 8K monitors on the market already.
If you think a 30fps @ 60Hz experience is worth the price of the 3090+ an 8K monitor, knock yourself out.
You haven't bought into nVidia's marketing BS, have you?

No I reckon you got it to play on a 40" 4k monitor with high hz and because you don´t mind wasting money, even if the gain is almost none existing.

Yeah I got a 3090 for 4k 120fps personally, but it would also cover 1440p 200fps+ very nicely or 3440x1440p high refresh if paired with the right cpu and ram.

All of which are far more viable and enjoyable experience than 8k 30fps would be (OK, 60 in stuff like doom).

Then buy 32/35 2160p 144hz and see how your 3090 dies on high settings.

Hard on limit are 3440x1440 165hz high settings and you cant archive this on every game with 3090.

8k wtf? This will take another 3-4 gpu generations to play on accept able frame rate and settings.
