ARGB splitter
If I use an ARGB (5v3pin) splitter, will I be able to control each split branch individually or will I only be able to set color for all the devices at once? Using RGB Fusion 2.0 (Gigabyte) if that matters.

I only have one ARGB header on the MB. I have a 4 pin RGB header so that's an option but that still leaves 2 more devices, possibly 3, so have no choice but to buy a splitter.

Most addresable LEDs expect the data line be in series you can power them in paralell though.

when split the same signal that goes to one will go to all split from it

3pin is for ws2812b leds, that use a serial signal to control each led colors (each led can be a different color)

the 12v 4pin use a common +12v and -v pull down for each of the r/g/b colors (entire strip is the same color)

one trick you can do with the ws2812b leds is to split a branch part way up the strip
ex
1-2----59-60
split
61-62----119-120
61-62----119-120

then 61-120 on both extended after the split will be the same colors
(be sure to set the controller to the max number of leds on any serial chain)

Great idea, thank you.
