Razer Tiamat 7.1 sound problem. Anyone familiar with this?

So, I have this problem with my Razer Tiamat 7.1 where in shooting games it kind of "attenuates" or "suppresses" the sound of the guns, and it just doesn't sound right. I didn't have this problem with my Razer Kraken 7.1 so I don't really know what causes it. Is there some kind of settings where you can change this?

I can't say I ever had that problem with my Tiamat 2.1's.

You sure you don't have some sort of software dynamic range compression on?

Disable ANY volume auto-leveling BS. That works better for Shows/Movies; but generally not good in Games.

As well as on the Communications tab for Playback/Recording, set to "Do Nothing"
