About resolution, it all depends on what resolution your GPU can handle videogames, I suggest you to check lg 27gl850-b and similars, those are pretty pretty popular right now as they are really high quality monitors
I do own a 1440p 144hz 27" display and it's pretty good, but the color accuracy is trash, so check color accuracy and brightness (as well as contrast) before getting one
before i only had a hp 32" 1440p, non curved and it felt weird switching... but the cuved new one is more comfortable for my eyes, especially when i'm reading something or playing.
so yeah generally you'll notice a positive difference.
but personally i wouldn't buy 32" in QHD again, compared to 4k it feels very blurry.
so either 27" QHD curved or 32" 4k curved is probably the best option.
It's more of a question of will the larger monitor still display the older games resolutions without making my eyes bleed or giving me a headache
i'll install rollercoaster tycoon to take a look, give me a minute
that's the max resolution of 1024x768 https://i.imgur.com/EvbGmzL.jpg
sadly it has no steam overlay so i can't take proper screenshots, but overall the game looks normal to me and i don't think you'll have a problem playing it.
second pic looks a bit blurry but that's cause of my phone
Just got to see if i can find one anywhere as they all seem to be in short supply at the moment. same thing happened last time i upgraded then it was graphics cards
no problem, as i said earlier, i have a dell 32 inch 4k (model: S3221QS)
not sure what it costs in your area, but yeah, i guess you'll get the same results with a good 27 inch curved QHD monitor
Could just imagine on a 27" 1500R@1440, would be my next upgrade for sure...
I have a 27" curved monitor, but the curve is relatively shallow compared to what's available.
It feels odd when you first start using it, but after only a short time feels very natural.
At the end of the day, it really is personal preference

confirmed the newer 1500R panels were far better than the 1st generation of 1800R VA panels - then I happened to see it at my local microcenter for $150, bought it on the spot after viewing some fast action scenes... Replaced my ancient 8 year old Acer TN panel could not be happier!
