Low fps Rx 470

I have a problem, I usually play minecraft, valorant, cs go, roblox and all these have the same problem, my fps is fluctuating or is only low, less than 60 fps, from what I read, my gpu can run many games with 60 fps, but mine reaches 15 fps has time.
My Settings:

CPU: AMD FX-8320
Memory: 8 gb
GPU: Rx 470 Graphics

All AMD GPU's and Vega's runs like Garbage on OpenGL in Windows. Play on Linux/Ubuntu if you want Decent Performance or get an Nvidia Card.

reinstall windows...clean install. if the problem persists, you may have a hardware error.
or maybe lower the graphics settings in the amd gfx driver gui.

Yeah, I don't think it's anyhow related to your graphics card. RX 470 is more than capable of running Minecraft and such.
Check out your CPU frequencies and temps. Also check out your mobo's NB and mosfets temps. AM3+ mobos have a lot of issues, and the FX CPUs also have low per-core performance.

Single thread or not it shouldn't be that bad, csgo plays on most potatoes even my old x4 965be / r7 265 could pull off 100+ fps in csgo 1080p.

If there was a significant advantage from running Linux over Windows with Radeon - I guess it would've been a wide-spread knowledge at this point. Also, we're talking RX 470 here, not some potato. The RX 470 can certainly handle minecraft, cs go, roblox, and valorant at 1080p with good fps, so you are wrong. I had an RX 470 as my main for 3 years, and it's still a good gpu. It even handles modern games like Assassin's Creed Origins or Odyssey at 1080p Medium and can hold ~60 fps while doing so. So let's just stop with the b*llsh*t.

I suspect at least part of the problem here is the cpu. FX-8xxx was never strong on single-core performance, and all of the games the OP listed benefit from good single-core IPC.

I dual-boot Windows and Linux with Radeon. Linux does not generally perform better in games than Windows. Claims that it does are probably newly-minted Linux fanboys emoting after LTT declared Linux "the future of gaming" (it isn't imo).

No, not for real. Three quarters of the hardware forum regulars don't even own a Radeon gpu. If you wanted to play games like Control you'd find your RX 470 pushed hard, but it's plenty for Valorant, cs go etc at 1080p.

I suspect your cpu is holding you back a bit. And you could be joining lobbies with a poor connection, which would result in frame-dips that have nothing to do with your PC. Also make sure all the Radeon bs is turned off (Anti-lag, Chill, Boost, Enhanced Sync, Instant GIF, In-Game Replay, Metrics Overlay).

Minecraft is a good example since is Backend uses OpenGL, you can get decent performance but don't expect it to get performance near Nvidia, you make get 60 FPS on Windows but on Linux your gonna get Twice the amount of FPS due to the open sourced MESA Drivers. You can go on the Net and Reddit there will be Hundreds and Hundreds of complaint about AMD OpenGL Performances.

rx470 is weaker than 1060 3g or gtx 970

not great for 1080p gaming

fx is a cpu bottleneck in cs and other cpu demanding games
