What kind of ram should i buy?
I have an acer aspire e5-575g-528Q, i already went on the acer website and it automatically recommended me one but there is only one site that sells it and the delivery would take a week...

It says on my laptop : 6gb ddr4 ram

Well then can i buy any ddr4 ram other than the one the site showed me ?

Get the portable version of cpuz from a computer magazine site.
Look what ram you have, how much slots are free.
You can buy the same you already have.

But if you dont know, tell us what cpuz says.
As far as I can find, that model supports up to (at least) 32 GB RAM of DDR4 at up to (at least) 3200 MHz speeds, and has two RAM slots. If you're looking to upgrade it to 16 GB or something, then most any 16 GB DDR4 and 3200 MHz should be fine. I'd recommend a pair of two modules over one module so you retain dual channel.

Crucial usually guarantees compatibility with given systems. You don't HAVE to get it from here, but it serves as a good cross check as to what will work.

Since you have to entirely replace the 6 GB in there now (as it's likely 1x 4 GB and 1x 2 GB), you don't have to worry about matching it (you wouldn't HAVE to anyway, but if you were able to add RAM alongside existing RAM, then if the existing stuff is slower, your new RAM, if faster, would run at a slower speed to match it).

there are very few laptop ram dimms/kits that are over 3000 or with timings lower than 16

2600+ cl17- is a good enough target to hit
the mobile cpu is much weaker than similar desktop versions

https://pcpartpicker.com/products/memory/#xcx=0&t=15&S=2600,5100&L=30,170&sort=price&page=1

to see what it has

post a cpuz validation link
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
cpuz -> validate button -> submit button
it will open a browser, copy the url (address) and paste it here

get a dimm that matches the speed (freq x2) and with similar timings
or replace both dimms
