Getting AverMedia Live Gamer Ultra GC553 working in Linux Mint?

I'm stuck with Linux at the moment, and I kinda like it, I can run Gmod at almost 300 fps, I have no idea why my Windows machine could only get 40-50 in the same maps, but I digress. Might be an update, new cpu, opengl, or maps being updated to run better... anyways.

I got an capture card to use for screen capture, camcorder feed as webcam, practical tech for many uses, and OBS detects the device, but there is no video feed from my console, my computer, anything. Cables are switched, tried finding a driver, but they're for PCI-e frame-grabbers.

Any ideas?
