4-5 wire, all leds the same color, +12v, -r, -g, -b, -w(optional)
3 wire, +5v, gnd, serial signal (ws2812b, leds each can be a different color)
they are not compatible with each other
similar kits can work together, 3 wire has a limit to the number of leds the controller is sending the signals to
looks like all of those listed use 3pin serial leds
connectors and pinouts may not be compatible but can be adapted
Hi, thanks for the reply. I've read that RGB fusion is very unstable and can cause system complications. So at this point I'm probably make performance as a top priority and RGB as not important. So for the case i think I will chose MSI MAG FORGE 100R but my option might changes overtime since I'm still surveying for better components. For my motherboard I probably stay using the GIGABYTE motherboard or change other brands like ASUS(but too expensive). Also another question, can openRGB worked as well? I don't think I want to install RGB fusion.
Hi, I'm sorry. I'm not planning to buy RGB strips just yet.
