Bios updates

Hello so I am building an old system for my younger brother. I am going to use an asus z87-k motherboard paired with an i7-4790k. I read that there is one compatibility issue where the motherboards bios is outdated. Can I update the bios while using the cpu or does the motherboard have to be updated first then I can use it?

1st find the latest bios on asus website d/load make sure the files are for windows that will run inside normal windows then run it,,,make sure no power black out during flashing or it will ♥♥♥♥ up your day big times then reboot ,,Walla !! P/S lets say your board at Rev 1.0 and latest bios is 6.0 No need to go 2.0 then 3 4 5,,Okay to jump to 6.0 right away because instruction updating are written on the same files. good luck and cheers !!!

Oh that is good I can just go straight to the latest version. So for now can I still use the cpu and update the bios at the same time or does it have to be updated first in in order to use the cpu? I have found the latest bios for that version of asus motherboard.

you can even watch porn star jiggling on bed dude,,, Bios even its old are not Must do or die action as long Windows are running perfectly normal are mandatory !! i suggest you update all the drivers then important software installed the very last are Bios update !!!

yes

the intel board will work with a cpu that is not supported by bios yet

just boot to bios and update, on the next boot it will be fully supported
