Did you have these issues before you updated the gpu drivers? If not, roll back drivers.

Thermal relates issues or your PSU isn't up to the task when your CPU + GPU is under high loads.

I had a similar problem but only while playing IL2 BoS from steam. Found that going into setup and switching off shaders did the trick, I run a 9900k and Nv 2070 gpu. It seem that the russian programmers cant deal with shaders so they blame Nvidia and Microsoft!

Oh I haven't heard good things about that brand and model of PSU I'd get a new and more reputable PSU brand, I am a personal fan of Be Quiet but there's also seasonic which I have heard great things about.

I'd look at this tier list and pick something pretty high up but not too expensive probably B or even C tier https://linustechtips.com/topic/1116640-psucultists-psu-tier-list/

Tech support guy here.
There could be several things that could cause this issue, it sounds to me like it could be an issue with the power supply.
It sounds like the power supply is either failing or it isn’t providing enough power to the computer (this could be an issue with the GPU if it requires external power and it draws more power than the power supply can provide.)

If it was a driver issue, there’s a specific windows shortcut that reboots the video drivers. “Windows Key + Shift + C” if I recall properly
