4.9 GHz (1 Core), 4.8 GHz (2 Core), 4.7 GHz (4 Core), 4.6 GHz (6 / 8 Core) is how the 9700k turbo boost speeds break down depending on the number of cores in use/under load.
There's few cases where only one core is going to be under load. I'd expect 4.7/4.6ghz being the effective max clock you'd see in most cases under normal load/usage at wholly stock settings.
Yeah so when I do 49x for core ratio, I OC all cores to 4.9 GHz? Will OC interfere with turbo boost?
then when you oc it will stay at the mutli you set it to
