RivaTuner : Some system components cannot be hooked right now

Anybody know how to fix this? It's driving me insane. It was totally fine before I installed windows updates.

I have reinstalled msi afterburner and rivatuner twice already, no idea what else i can do

I see that message tab whenever I start my rigs, even when I've installed the latest version and have rebooted numerous times. I've given up on this....

If you're happy that this issue is only caused by a Windows update and MSI-AB and RTSS both function otherwise as expected; you can silence this warning by opening "C:\Program Files (x86)\RivaTuner Statistics Server\ProfileTemplates\Config" and setting [Settings] > Silent=1

Please note I have no idea if this has any other repercussions to MSI-AB or RTSS's behaviour, but it does suppress this error message.
