Is there any way to move the Steam or MSI AB FPS counter to the top Middle of your screen?
Here's the story;

My 55" LED tv's bottom half LED rows went out and I am temporally using an older 47" Samsung tv as a monitor. With the older model you Must use the PC port in order to have the image or game fit the screen at 1920x1080p. That port is VGA only. I bought a HDMI to VGA cable and the tv doesn't recognize it. So, I use a HMDI cable to one of the HDMI ports.

The problem with that is when gaming a small portion of the image is off screen and out of view. I normally use Steams FPS counter, but AFAIK it can only be set to one of the screens 4 corners, which is out of view.

*Yeah I will be getting a new T.V.. Just not right away.

If using an AMD card, within the Radeon settings you can adjust the HDMI scaling to bring the image within the screen borders.
If using a Nvidia card, within the Nvidia control panel under display / adjust desktop size and position > then click on the size tab and enable desktop resizing and then adjust the screen position. You can shrink the image to bring it within the screens borders.
MSI Afterburner uses RivaTuner Statistics Server for its osd. Open RTSS and at the bottom of the app you can input the horizontal or vertical position of the osd. You will have to play with it a bit to get it where you want.

Thank you, I'll try the Nvidia CP first. Hadn't thought of that.

By the way Spec Ops, I remember you from a couple of years ago(I haven't been on Steam until last Christmas). Not sure if it is from the Fallout 4 forum or another one but, I remember you Always being helpful when players had issues with their game(s). So, have some points on me. :)

From the Fallout 4 forum. Had been wondering about some of the regular posters I used to see here and noticed you had been absent for sometime, had hoped the past year hadn't been a terrible one for you. Glad to see your still about.

Thanks, all's well here. Was playing FO76 on the Beth site since the Beta for the game. Then I had a few RL changes that made it to where I couldn't stay in game for hours at a time. Constantly need to pause any game I play and deal with RL issues. You can't pause FO76. So, at Christmas I bought CP 2077 and it's be a decent game for me. No major game breaking issues with it.

Glad you're still around trying to help others.

And no, Covid has not been a problem here so far.

Hope life has been treating you well too. :)

Things are well here. The NZ government have been very proactive against the pandemic and most citizens have been doing there bit to help keep us all safe.
Has been a bit of personal development for me. Began diet changes for weight loss and then regular exercise at the end of 2019. Has been so good in fact that I recently began Karate training and joined a local gym to support the Karate training. I'm loving it so much that gaming has become a lot less important to me.

I had the same experience with Cyberpunk as well though like most games I play I never bother to actually finish them, quite enjoyed it though.

All the best for your future mate and I hope you keep safe.

For MSI AB, open RTSS, select the location you want the overlay on, in the bottom right of the programs window.
The numbers are in pixels, so if you want it in the middle, and your display is 1080p, you set it to 540 on the horizontal axis, 1080 for 4k.

If you have a remote for the TV adjust the displays settings so the image better fits the screen. I can't remember what it's called, and may vary from display to display, but it allows you to adjust the scale, position, and boundaries of the display.

I wish you the best also.

One of the few places in the world I always wanted to see and never did is NZ. When I was a teenager I thought I might want to spend my life on an island. NZ would have suited me just fine. It wasn't in the cards for me and now days I'm just too old and deep rooted in the Pacific North Wet(Washington State) to move anywhere else.

Never took any formal classes in any of the martial arts, but I did swing a mean set of Nunchucks when I was younger growing up in Vegas. A friend of mine took Karate and he and I use to spar quite a bit. Ouch, I can still feel the pain. :)

Take care and be well. Now that I'm back on Steam, I'm sure our paths will cross again.

In Steam there is a location option for that if using the FPS Counter for Steam Client. Its best to select Lower-Left and select the High Contrast Mode. This way the Steam FPS Counter won't be in the way of any other Steam Overlay, such as things related to Steam Broadcasting.

If using MSI AB, that is a totally different Overlay, for this config you simply configure this via RTSS
