Z370 support them as well, however it most likely will not state the correct CPU model in the BIOS or in your OS until your Z370 board has had a BIOS update, but it will still boot and work fine with a 9th Gen CPU. Z390 requires no BIOS update, its ready out of the box. However due to various micro-code updates and security hotfixes, its always a good idea to update to the latest non-Beta BIOS version anyways.
