Modern alternatives to DynDNS?...

So... There was once a time where you could use DynDNS simply. You could register a free account. You could get a DynDNS address. You then could either A) login once a month to keep it going or, B) setup your router to automatically phone home, and with either result you got a working, free, dynamic DNS service with nothing more than once monthly check ins through a simple login process...

I havent had a use/need for such services in roughly ~10 years.

Tonight I looked into it and found that DynDNS doesnt even offer free services anymore. Many competitors seem to require you to bring your own pre-purchased domain name. Many have limits on the ways one can use the services any more. Many also seem to require more than just once monthly simple logins, with many requiring domain name certification monthly?

All I want/need is a simple no-frills, no charges, and no questions asked DynDNS service, something that was available widely 10 years ago... Does anyone have any suggestions on such a service?

If you don't, check whether your brand does something similar.
