It's better in my opinion.
You can just rebind the keys that would be on bumped.
I can't recommend Corsair keyboards; they have mediocre build quality for their price (rough metal top plate, cherry switches (scratchy), key cap wobble, and they have hard wrist rests.
I have also heard mixed things about their software and firmware.

I like a full sized keyboard, but i don't know why they're forcing all these RGB keyboards on us.
My pc shop shows only 3 keyboards with solid colours, the Corsair K63...K68 and the Razer k/board in white.
Best bet OP is check out reviews online from sites like TechPowerUp or Toms Hardware, or Overclockers.
Just add my model doesn't seem to be available anymore, mine also has the volume scroll in the top right corner, seems you have to go to models $70 + now if you want this and it is handy to have, although it doesn't work in Skyrim, its works on my other games.
Prop the Laptop on a Laptop Cooler that elevates the Laptop for cooling and clearance reasons.
Plug in what's you want to use for USB Keyboard & Mouse (maybe even a DS4 or XBO controller if you feel the need for some games) and enjoy. Don't use USB hubs.
