My computer starts very loud, please help me
Hello, I don't know if I should be worried or no, but I need some help.

Ever since I installed Valorant, when I turn my computer in the morning, it sounds insanely loud (way louder than ever). But maybe it's just a coincidence, I'm not sure. That game has Vanguard anti-cheat which turns on with my computer, that's why it's suspicious.

The loud sound goes away after rebooting the computer (I have to hold a power button). If I turn on the computer the same day again, everything works okay. Seems like the problem occurs only when I turn it on after a long time of it being turned off.

Do you have similar problems? Is there a way to fix it? Or should I just uninstall Valorant and play something else instead? Would be sad, because I really like that game, but I'm afraid it may damage my computer.

I appreciate your help, it worries me a lot. Thank you.

common
at post it will run fans at 100% then turn them down after it loads fan profiles in bios, then windows
check bios fan header profiles, make sure the 3pin fans are set to dc voltage control, and 4pin are pwm
case fans, 25-50% at 40c, to 100% at 60c
cpu fan, 0% at 40c to 100% at 80c

if that one program is using alot of cpu, you can manually end it with task manager

Do I have to go to BIOS to check it?

No my laptop also does it. I have valorant installed.
You can go in the little tab bottom right and end the anticheat if not playing valorant. Just no that you'll have to restart the system if you do. That anticheat runs from start.

I don't think it is valorant's fault anymore. Uninstalled to test it and it still runs loud.

Not sure but the anticheat may still be installed. It's called vanguard. Pretty heavy anticheat that's pretty effective.

The anticheat used with valorant will not allow some fan control software to run because it detects it as a potential threat. When its disables the software the fans will run on defaults.

I did uninstall Vanguard anticheat and the problem is still there.

Guess you need to find out what controlled your fans and reinstall it if its software. Reset it if its bios enabled, without knowing what your machine is we can only guess.

Possibly go back to a saved point before valorant was installed.

Could be a poor CPU contact on cooler
