Help, i cant change my refresh rate
My laptop is able to run on 300hz but this morning when i turn on my laptop the only option is 60hz, there is no option to change it to 300hz (even in “advance display settings” it only shows 60hz)

Is there anyone know how to fix this?

Hey I've got this laptop too and after one day of use it's having exactly the same issue. No idea how to fix the issue though. No signs of any help anywhere other than this thread. Tried many things already and the PC seems to be using the iGPU in certain loads such as FurMark despite me having the dGPU set as the preferred one for all 3d work loads in the NVIDIA control panel.

I seem to have found a solution. I updated the AMD Radeon drivers for the iGPU and everything seemed to run very smoothly and I was suddenly able to use the screen at the full refresh rate.

My laptop is Zephyrus Duo 15 SE and it has 2 display, if I turn the second display off, im able to change the refresh rate. How to fix this?

Note: I used to be able to change the refresh rate when the second screen is on too
Asus website says the Zephyrus Duo 15 SE has 120 Hz 4k display. And the secondary display is probably 60 Hz.

DDU wipe the gpu drivers via safe mode. Reboot and go download and install gpu driver from amd or nvidia.
If deleting the 2nd Display addresses the issue, what you need to do is select Extended Desktop Mode, not Duplicate.

There is a version with fhd 300hz too
That laptop can only run 300hz on mains power, it defaults to 60hz when running on battery.

Thank you so much, i will try this and update this thread
Like I said, ddu wipe drivers and install the ones from amd/intel/nvidia directly.

Laptops come with oem drivers, wipe that junk out, always.

But you also need to disable the auto driver update option in Windows to avoid it auto updating drivers via Windows Updates. That is also an easy setting to disable via the ddu app, but it's also a setting that's not hard to find in the regular OS settings.

Thanks everyone this problem is solved.
a little note: when u update your amd gpu i prefer turning factory reset on (this make sure it install everything from scratch)
Again just do yourself a favor whenever you switch gpu or gpu driver. Always have the one you know works and the new driver you plan to use, downloaded to local drive. Then use the ddu app and enter safe mode. Wipe out the gpu brand, reboot and then install the driver package and reboot once more when done. Myself and my coworkers been using this method since the days of WinXP and it helps avoid many issues. You won't always have an issue when upgrading a driver, but this method just helps avoid it altogether. I keep hearing people say though they do not do it because it wipes the settings from the amd or nvidia gpu software... so what, it takes less then 5 minutes to reconfigure tbis again after a clean driver wipe and install process has been done.
