steam wants me to buy or install games, i already did, and have.... why is it suddently not shown in my list???
i have 2 hdd, and from one i cant start windows.... so i got a second, and installed steam.

now windows wanted to make a update , and after that, i cant start steam with my games i allready have bought and installed.

it shows them as not intalled, and even some of the games he wants me to buy them, again.

i started steam from c: , and from d : , but the same problem. i cant start the game i just have bought and installed. so i install it now again, becaouse its not big ( 8 GB ) . but i cant buy all new again.... or install it a second time..... i dont have any space left for all that....

what went wrong.... is it druring the conection of steam to the internet .... or did something went wrong because of the windows update ???

and second interesting thing is, that you can look, when you conected to steam and in which country and state.... and i live in vienna... but i see conections from divrent states...?? do i have to worry?? or is it ok, becaouse steam looks for the best server... its really strange. but the first problem is my priority. please help me, if you know what to do.

If Steam is prompting you to buy games you know you've already purchased. It sounds like you bought them on a separate account. (it's at this point some users will want to argue they don't have second accounts, and will waste their time arguing Steam is at fault, and then fifteen posts later realize they were mistaken, because memory is a fickle thing)

As for games not showing as installed, it is possible for the library file to become corrupted. The game data is still there. Steam has just lost track of it. You should be able to tell Steam to install the game to the existing location and it ought to recognize the previously existing game files and skip downloading things that are already downloaded.

The issues you describe with games becoming uninstalled usually happens when Steam is shut down improperly. It's not guaranteed to happen every time Steam shuts down improperly, but it seems to be the commonly understood cause when it does occur.
