Logitech F310 Controller - Does It Work For Windows 10?
I've spent a little bit of time looking online for the answer and it seems there some who say it does and some that say it doesn't, so I'm just not sure.

Yes, I use one on it just fine. AFAIK the only "issues" with the controllers were exclusive to the F710 as it is wireless, and was down to a value (registry or driver related?) that was configured wrong and could be somewhat fixed anyway. But the F310 (and F510) are wired and work fine.

Thank you for the information. Hope you have a great day.
F310 has no issues on Windows 10.
Any issues usually stems from the game/software not being ran as admin when having custom profiles being used.
Edit: I only have that issue with Ace Combat 7, so far nothing else has that issue.

Thank you for the information. Hopefully you figure out what's causing your issue for Ace Combat 7.
I prefer to avoid input conflicts by staying in directinput mode and mapping to the keyboard with the Big Picture menu or Antimicro.

I'm not sure why people still use the obsolete Joy2key, when there's much better fully open source option.

I run the game as admin, then the logitech software as admin.
Figured it out within a couple of minutes, standard resolution to identical problems.

Logitech controllers have their own software for mapping.

Yes, F310 and F710 no problems.
Don't even need to install any Logitech software, they are plug & play and are seen as an Xbox360 controller.

You need it if you want to map them for certain games, and not all of them will work properly with default controls, some wont at all without being told what does what.

No you don't, as can just do it via Steam BigPictureMode.

Whatever you connect for a Controller, always double-check that everything is working properly (in Windows OS at least) via WINKEY+R > JOY.CPL
It works on Windows XP-10.

Not sure about 98 SE.

Or about 11.
It works on 11 just the same as 10

yeah does not work for me so i need sum help
What exactly is it you're trying to do with it?

Have you verified the gamepad itself actually works?

I'm (still) using one and it's basically plug and play for me in Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Do be aware that different software (games) may work only in DirectInput or X-Input mode. Many work fine for me in both, but some may only work in one. That is what the toggle on the back is for. So try it both ways too.
well on my win11 machine it is not recognized ... :(
my win11 doesnt recognices it. in ls22 its only partially working.
