Bluetooth headphones don't work with game
I recently got Friday the 13th: The Game and when I am in the game my wireless headphones would just cut out and I would hear static and weird beeping noises sometimes they would start working again for a few seconds but they would always just cut out again afterward. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling and restarting my headphones and computer.

Cause the game probably is trying to use a different audio such as Motherboard or GPU audio. Once the headset is connected, make it the default in Windows before loading up any appa that would use audio.
Some games require you to go into windows 10 sound devices and disable any Hands-Free audio input/output for bluetooth audio to work.

This is still working for me in 2022! Had this problem for mw2. Either do this or go to the sound panel>communications>do nothing

When it comes to something like an Input Device or Audio Device; ensure it's plugged in, enabled before launching a game. There might also be a need to set the devices as the default if you have others available in your OS.

Most users don't seem to know how to find the audio settings we had in WinXp/Vista/7

Windows Sound Settings > Sound Control Panel

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
