Unless it is possible to get a remote to do this through my pc somehow.
Oh yeah I forgot I use a EVGA RTX 2060 super for madVR.
I'd stick to using PC. Every other hardware device I've ever used to play stuff is too much of a hassle. Have to re-encode audio or video or both because or one reason or another. PC software will play it back without any hassle.
Upscaling is pretty much a meme if you ask me. Fancy term for running a filter on a video and unfortunately commercial upscalers aren't worth a darn. If you want video to look better use available shaders or filters from same freeware you use to play the video on your pc. Will look better.
There is a Windows shortcut to switch display modes. So for example you do the keyboard shortcut and it can instantly switch to disabling PC display and enabling TV display and it'll be ready? instead of the mouse movements.
Thanks good points !
