RTX 3070 good for 1440P?
I am looking for good monitor to buy. Should be a MSI one with 32inch and 1440P. Can my GPU handle all new AAA titles above 60FPS?

Depend on the title. Most of the games can get above 60fps with RTX3070. Those with ray tracing implemented can be hard to fun though. For example, Cyberpunk 2077, when RT enabled, even with DLSS, can still drop to 40~50fps.

There is some games can still dropped to below 60 FPS with the 1440P monitor.

oh okay. Is it a good idea going for FHD with better Refresh rate?

high refresh rates need a faster cpu and gpu

if getting a display over 60hz, make sure it supports gsync/freesync
will lower the refresh to match the gpu output, and desktop will look smooth at a high refrehs rate

CPU is a R5 5600x. Surely it will be a G Sync one

3070 should be enough for 1440p, specially if you are only aiming for 60fps.

I have an rtx2080super which is slightly slower (11% according to userbenchmarks). But im running 1440p 144hz monitor just fine. Sure most games average in 70-90fps range when running max graphics, but its ok.

RTX 3070 is a fine 1440p card, especially if you run a G-Sync monitor.
Should not notice any FPS drops at all.

I only run a Ryzen 2600x with a RTX 2080 and i play everything in 1440p/60 FPS without problems.
In rare cases i may have to lower a setting from ULTRA to VERY HIGH or so to keep 60 at all times but thats nothing that you really notice in games.

The RTX 3070 was designed with 1440P + high framerate in mind, so rest assured 1440P is absolutely fine with it. The only aspect of the RTX 3070 I don't like is VRAM, 8GB is nVidia being just too stingy....perhaps it'd give nVidia an excuse to churn out RTX 3070 Ti with slightly boosted clock and memory, and maybe 12GB of VRAM at a higher price!

I'm fully aware of that, don't you find it pretty ridiculous that the RTX 3060 is not powerful enough to fully utilize that amount of VRAM and its far more powerful sibling, the RTX 3080 has 'only' 10GB? This is why I'd said nVidia was being very stingy with VRAM, and it leaves room for refresh cards like an RTX 3070 Ti, and the RTX 3080 Ti (with perhaps 12GB of VRAM) leaving those who had gotten the vanilla versions of the RTX 3080 and 3070 feeling.....hoodwinked, maybe?

I'm on 1440p with a 1650 super getting 90 FPS in most cases. A 3070 will definitely make the cut.

rtx 3070 can handle 4k but with low fps than 2k. just buy a monitor with DP support and if u have money get 144hz or 75hz or if u have alot of money get 240hz or 365hz refresh rate monitor.

i have aoc 24g2e5 75hz its best budget gaming monitor (my opinion), and works with my rtx 3070.
