Asus Armoury Crate help v 3.1.1.0
Hey guys. So Asus armoury crate has not been able to install on my comptuer since like the end of June. Trying to install 3.1.1.0 on my X570-E motherboard. Anyone else having this issue? I can't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ figure out how to make an account on Asus's forums its so damn convoluted. Can't seem to find any threads elsewhere either. Any help would be appreciated

It is bloatware, I recommend against installing it.

These programs are often buggy, unreliable, system source heavy and only exist to mine data on you.

I understand it's pretty much bloatware. But I did enjoy the ability to control my Led's on my tower. I couldn't get open rpg to work well

I have to also suffer from this 'bloatware' unfortunately as it happens to be the all-in-one package to keep my other Asus peripherals firmware up-to-date.

However the standalone downloadable installer package from the Asus website(the v3.x) doesn't work for me either last time I checked. So now I'm actually using the version from the Windows Store(v4.x) prompted by the Windows notification after a recent fresh install of 10. Weirdly you can't just look up Asus Armory Crate in Windows Store storefront as it's hidden from public for some reason, and you have to let 10 'decides' that you should have it.

If it's just a free RGB controlling software you want, check out OpenRGB instead. It should cover most of the known hardware on the market but some unique light patterns or behaviors known to the specific model maybe inaccessible.
