Hot msi 2808ti graphics card

Hi how hot should a 2080ti graphics card go to.my one sits at 69 when playing and 34 when idel but the backing plate is really hot is this normal.any help would be great thanks.

Easily in spec.

There's no memory on the back of the board like the 3090 so no issue with it getting overly toasty.

As for the temp, on air it's fine, you could try maxing the fan abd improving case surgliw to drop a few degrees which will aid the boost clock / overclock.

It's in spec, but if you don't care about the warranty or don't have one to begin with, you could carefully disassemble the card and replace the thermal paste. The paste they used in the factory might just be crap, or they did a poor job of it, which they did on my MSI 2080 Ti Duke OC. I replaced the factory paste with Hydronaut and got a ~10 degree drop, partially due to the fact that there were small gaps where the die was barely even covered with paste at all.
