This worked on my msi DS B1 mouse as well! Right click hasn't consistently worked for about 3 years and now it magically works! Thank you so much, ptihommenmousse!

This post saved me, I have a G502 that was double clicking and this fixed it! I had already ordered a new one but decided to see if I could save the old one and it was such an easy fix I canceled the order of the new one. THANK YOU!

I'm upset. Not because this didn't work, it did, but that I didn't think to Google this earlier after the second time I replaced my Logitech M510 with another one because of this exact reason. And thinking on it, it always began happening on the onset of winter, when humidity starts to get low. I'd replace it at least once a year, and I'd always get the same because, to be honest, I like how it feels in the hand.

I also had this issue on specifics games like Overwatch or COD Warzone where the right click doesn't seems to hold and seems to stutter. I read online that this is a common issue with logitech and razer mouse. Apparently blowing into your mouse will fix this (I didn't believed it at first but it actually solve it for me). You can read it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/6j1sv6/razers_mouse_double_clicking_problem/

The answer: Logitech Mice do this as well. There's a trick to try and fix it:
The toggle switch that operates the 'button' sometimes gets a static charge buildup. To help release it, breath a few breaths into the gap between the button and the base of the mouse (the slit that allows the button to move and 'click'). The humidity in your breath will usually dissipate the static buildup and the button will stop double clicking- most of the time. I repaired a Logitech G602 using this method, it might work on the Razer mice as well.

*Note- it may take a few tries to do this, I had to do this to my mouse over several days. Slow breaths are better as it allows more humidity to dissipate the static.

No shot this fixed my mouse for good
Wizards, the lot of you
What i did was take my mouse apart and put a single drop of 91% rubbing alcohol on the clicker and then let it dry for 10 minutes and mine worked again. make sure to unplug mouse first.

its the switch failing, replace the switch, or mouse

its roughly $20 for the tools to do it yourself

most mice use a microswitch like this, just remove the hinge plate
https://www.amazon.com/DAOKI-Switch-Momentary-Button-Arduino/dp/B07YKH3TDR

mice are easy to take apart, switch is 3pin not the most difficult to unsolder without much desoldering experience
desoldering bulb, cheap iron and solder are cheap

cheap 60w iron, with leaded solder and stand
https://www.amazon.com/Soldering-Adjustable-Temperature-Electric-Repairing/dp/B098JD8HD3

bulb to remove solder
https://www.amazon.com/Desoldering-Bulb-or-Solder-Remover/dp/B012EIYHWC

put in the k (angled pointed tip),
set tempt 300-350c
add some leaded solder to the component to remove, (leaded solder has lower melting point and flows smoother)
k tip is just long enough to reach all 3 pins, to easily remove the switch
use iron and bulb to clean up excess solder
insert new switch in the same orientation
add a small amount of solder to the pins (only c and no pins need to be soldered, mice dont use nc pin)

replacement switch might have different pressure weight, if it feels odd, you can replace them both

My Logitech pro superlight had buggy left mouse button as well. I got a short help for blowing humid air in the mouse but I had to do that like every 5mins. What really end up helping me, was to move out my apple watch/airpods charger from my desk to elsewhere.

i'll be another voice added to the list that says YES, this WORKS
i've been playing lots of the games astroneer and terratech where holding right click is used for camera controls ALL the time, so i noticed immediately when this happened

but blowing into the opening in the front of my mouse below the right click button worked, i hope it'll stay fixed for a while, but if not blowing again probably will work :candyman:

One more success to add to the list (and to bump in Google results). Who knew that 35 years after blowing on NES cartridges I'd be blowing on my Razer Basilisk mouse.
