I'm going to add my praise here, it's been bugging me for a week on my Logitech G502 and I kept thinking that dust, sweat, or grime got into a crack over the year or two I've been using it, but this just....fixed it. Who knew an N64 urban legend technique gives real results on modern mice!

I also had this issue on specifics games like Overwatch or COD Warzone where the right click doesn't seem to hold and seems to stutter. I read online that this is a common issue with Logitech and Razer mice. Apparently blowing into your mouse will fix this (I didn't believe it at first but it actually solves it for me). You can read it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/6j1sv6/razers_mouse_double_clicking_problem/

The answer: Logitech Mice do this as well. There's a trick to try and fix it:
The toggle switch that operates the 'button' sometimes gets a static charge buildup. To help release it, breath a few breaths into the gap between the button and the base of the mouse (the slit that allows the button to move and 'click'). The humidity in your breath will usually dissipate the static buildup and the button will stop double-clicking- most of the time. I repaired a Logitech G602 using this method, it might work on the Razer mice as well.

*Note- it may take a few tries to do this, I had to do this to my mouse over several days. Slow breaths are better as it allows more humidity to dissipate the static.

Tried this with my Logitech G502 Hero....didn't work.

Right mouse button was not "holding" in Cold War.

The solution, "kill" GHub....works flawlessly now.

Threads like this always give me a smile when they rarely crop up, where some seemingly simple problem that would be easy to write off if not figured out, with some answer you'd think was some urban legend that apparently turns out to help countless people time and time again as the actual fix. The people who find these obscure causes and solutions are the real legends.

It sort of worked for me, fixed for a short period (5minutes) and then carried on again...
