What it offers security it lacks in the privacy department. This browser also suffers from the lack of security add-ons but they have thier own VPNs
So, l would stay with firefox and turned off hardware acceleration and limited content process limit if l want less performance usage
Good security because its chromium.
Bad privacy because off all that chinese ♥♥♥♥.
I prefer Firefox. It has good privacy but worse security instead because it uses its own render engine and mozilla, well, isn't a multi billion company like google.
But frim all the gamer aspects:
Cool, i guess. Didnt know a browser can take up that much cpu.
And i also dont gave like 20+ tabs because it gets difficult to see whats opened.
When it comes to security like being hacked, tab isolation etc. Chromium is more secure.
I sadly cant find the article but maybe i can find it.
I think the best hybrid would be something like Brave, it uses chromium and blocks many scripts by default.
Firefox have anti cryptomining, cookies and alabala script detection
And both have "sandboxing" securety feature that makes sure any kind of insecure or harmful websites doesnt affect your machine.
The only thing that Chrome is winning in cathegory "Securety" is the protection of the users passwords. But really? For me this is nothing!
Here is the article abou browser SECURITY.
Dont forget the difference between security and privacy.
Still use firefox lol
Please stop this topic here. Gets a bit too off topic imo

A fully patched browser of any brand is safer. Can't guarantee 100% "safety" for anything, naturally. But I run both Firefox and Microsoft Edge un-sandboxed now b/c I have a little more confidence in the software and in the lists I use for uBlock Origin.
Nothing else is good.
Change DNS in Router to the IPV4 and IPV6 for CloudFlare
Change browser homepage to DuckDuckGo + Dark Mode + Unrestricted Searches
This is part of what originally gave Chrome such high memory use over other browsers, and even though other browsers also do this, the stigma that ONLY Chrome has a MUCH higher memory usage remains (not saying it does or doesn't have higher use some times but a major reason was due to that which isn't exclusive to it anymore).
Edit: Just skimmed some bits of the article you linked later. Seems Chrome does more "sandboxing" and/or the disparity is larger on the mobile browsers. I thought this was referring to the idea that Chrome puts tabs into a separate process like it was the only one doing it.
I've used Firefox for almost my computing life, sometimes using Chrome (or other Chromium based browsers), Edge, Internet explorer, and even Steams browser, and across multiple operating systems and computers.
As a whole, firefox has been the most stable, least issues, user friendly browser that I've used.
I've used it for significantly longer than Chrome, and it still has less issues.
The biggest issue I've personally had happen in firefox is black boxes randomly appearing in-browser, but was extremely easy to fix.
Firefox is one of the few programs I feel happy to recommend to any user.
I use multiple browsers for different things. Firefox is pretty much my go-to anything non-work related. Only because in a working environment I don't want loads of clutter and random search history.
Why exactly do you think Firefox or Chrome isn't good?
You use Opera GX and Edge are based on Chromium, so would suffer a lot of the same issues.
Steam is also Chromium based.
And, personally, unless you want to hide as much as you possibly can, To is a bit overkill.
