Control - crash question

PC:
Monitor:AORUS FI27Q
Cpu: 10850K with Nzxt Kraken X73 ( 60c in game )
Gpu: Rtx 3090 Gaming Oc ( 60C in game )
Ram: 32gb 2x16 GB DDR4 GSKILL 3200MHZ XMP
Psu: Seasonic Ultra Prime Titanium 850W TX
mb: Aorus 490 Pro Gaming
SSD: Crucial 1TB Nvm SSD
Case: Cooler Master Cosmos C700P


I have 6 months pc and control never crash. Today it crashed first time i dont know why.
I dont oc pc. All stock.

Should i be worried?

I checked event log and no driver crash. Just that error. Thanks!

PS:
Before game i only deleted 2 files . It was 2 files overlays from Epic.
EOSOverlayRenderer-Win32-Shipping.exe/EOSOverlayRenderer-Win64-Shipping.exe
I deleted them to maybe gain performance. Or not it was because of this?

Run option - Verify . Or reinstall the game .

what i found out that dll was removed from the game , probably the game installation needs to be updated .

if nothing helps , reinstal it . unpleasant thing but ... it is easy and comparatively fast solution

I don't think deleting files to try to get better performance at 1440p with a 10850k/3090 makes much sense, but aside from that... did it just crash once? If so, did it run fine when you tried to play it again? Sometimes games crash, it isn't necessarily a sign of a bigger problem if it's just a one off occurrence.

Rename the overlay file for Epic Launcher. It's a known bug for now.

Plus you are playing a game demo, which aren't always stable and not an accurate reflection of final game build.

If you like a game enough, buy the full game. Be sure to first uninstalling any demos for that game to avoid issues. Play the game and see how it does. Be mindful of the refund policy terms and if needed, refund the game.

For any game or app, if it crashed once or very rarely, that's not a big deal, it happens. But when it becomes unplayable, yes that's a problem.

i boy i just been asking everywhere for an FSR alternative for control. their engine choice(Northlight) is so horrible than even a slight overclock of a GPU (both old and new) will cause frequently crashing so try to underclock your graphics card core and vram and check if it fixes , yes this game hates you for being in gpu shortage you just want a to squeeze a little more performance to make and playable ultimately and it crashes like hell very dissapointing especially if developers wants you to buy 700 euros graphics card but by the way it used to cost around 300 euros

How many times do people have to tell you if something happens just ONCE do NOT worry about it. Could have happened for various reasons.

Unless you do exactly the same thing from the moment you turn on your computer and playing the exact same portion of the game every single day there would be thousands of things that have happened on the system and any one of them could have caused a random bug.

Unless you get the same issue over and over STOP worrying. it's only an issue if it keeps happening. Things may happen once and may never ever happen again.

If it happens once don't worry. Only be concerned if it keeps happening

yes all games crashes once in a while as long as it is not a huge deal like loosing a lot of progress. Ignore it except it is something important you may get 1 weekly ban from an online competitive game it had happened with my older computer (5 years old used) where my computer blue screened and i got banned for 1 mounth for a competitive game in these cases you should make a report on forum not the minor ones
