Help connecting third party ps3 controller to pc

Since getting a legit ps3 controller is more or less impossible, I had to buy a fake one (does look completely same tho)

I had no issues connecting my previous sony ps3 controller to pc through SCP, however this new one keeps giving me a headache.

the official SCP didn't work, but SCPtoolkit made it work only once, however I never got it working again when I rebooted my pc. Reinstalling didn't help either.

Tried even combining drivers with SCPtoolit and x360ce and the result was that only L2/R2 responded. Now I uninstalled both scp and x360ce.

What else can i try? Also at this point im questioning if maybe I damaged the xbox 360 accessories drivers or maybe the .net framework are not working properly, but since none of them are listed in the programs, I'd like to know what's the easiest way to reinstall/repair them as well.

Xbox controllers never need any apps so idk what that app is.

Utilities like SCP Toolkit are definitely going to have issues with knockoffs, as being designed for original controllers. However, is this is a good knockoff - check if there's any kind of "mode" button. PS button can also be actually this "mode" button. Most of the console-compatible controllers have both DInput and XInput modes - the first one will let you use X360CE and Steam's "generic controller" configuration, the latter will make it work like it's X360 controller.
