edit: ninja'd so hard
On the bright side you probably not need a CPU upgrade for another year or two.
Also 1050 ti is abysmal and not worth keeping if you are upgrading your MB/CPU
that board will only work with 8-9th gen i3/i5/i7 and g4xxx-g5xxx cpus
either get ryzen cpu/mobo or intel k cpu and z board
you will need to upgrade the GPU for sure.
intel changed the pinout between the 6 th and 7th gen CPU's and the new ones .. for the new CPU;s past an i 5 7600 K or i 7 7700 K you have a totally different pin out in the 1151 socket itself .. this you have to buy a new motherboard to support the 8th gen and 9th gen CPU's
your CPU is an old 4th gen one that used a different socket altogether
a Z 270 main board will only support up to the i 7 7700 K
and will not support your current CPU at all as it is a socket 1150 CPU
the Z 270 series boards use socket 1151 .. version 1
and also use DDR 4 ram ..not DDR 3
so your looking at ...... for an upgrade
NEW CPU + ram + motherboard
don't think the components will fetch anything the motherboard is outdated like hell, etc
