Or setting the autoplay to run the emu on disk loading
Not sure if its even able to autoplay
Should probably search for it, if theres a way to do it someone probably put it out there by now.
2. It would really surprise me if there was no copy protection of any kind on ps2 discs.
You could of cours homebrew your ps2 and rip the games from there, but i am no expert. Only modded my wiiu
sharing game roms or p-rateing is not
best to ask on the pcsx2 forum
but seriously its only 2 more clicks to run pcsx2 and pick the odd drive to play the game from disc
Discussion restriction has lessened over the years
OP got his question answered either way.
Or could just make shortcut of PCSX2.exe, and run that instead and add commands in the target to launch whatever that in your dvd drive. You have to run this shortcut everytime when you put in a disk. Ask on the PCSX2 forums for more help on this.
As long as you use the original Media its not illegall.
If that was a number of years ago thats likely why
They arent as strict as they used to be, as i mentioned before.
Short of it comapines were on edge of people talking about emulators, because if someone were to use platform to share files, or links to priate content, of course that would be a major red flag, and can get person a warning, or even temp ban. When more people became aware what emulators are, and how they worked, they ease a little, but still on edge about them because of Sony, and Nintendo basically as I wouldn't put anything pass them looking to sue any company they could if it was caught supporting pirating their IP's really.
That why we only limit ourselves to talk about things, if one want to talk about thing beyond that have to take that somewhere else as this isn't the place.
probably not a better time to crack down on it again since covid left a lot of people broke and with less money to spend, and gpu prices being so high people can't play the newer hotter stuff anymore.
It happen earlier this year.
