Street Fighter 6 - System Requirements

Does anyone have a clue what the minimum system requirements will be for the rumored Street Fighter 6? I will soon buy my first gaming laptop and to ensure this laptop can run Street Fighter 6 when it comes out I want to buy the right one. Of course, I can always buy the fastest, but I don't have the money for it and I don't necessarily want it if I don't need it. Thanks!

Is there a reason you buying a laptop instead of a desktop?
You get waay more performance from a desktop then a laptop for the same money.

I'm choosing a laptop because I'd like the computer to be mobile. Plus it has a screen (if needed as a backup) and it has a battery for when power fails (if connected to the grid).

Also, I'm not sure if a desktop is much cheaper. I've compared prices out of curiosity, but I didn't see much difference. Maybe if you buy separate components and assemble it yourself then maybe it could be a lot cheaper, but I haven't checked that. Anyway, thanks for your reply.

Im pretty sure a laptop doesnt have a ''video in'' option.

If it's a rumor as you say, then there's no information besides speculation to go on for what you might even need to begin with, no?

Set yourself a budget and get the best thing you can within it, and hope.

The short answer is no. There's been no announcements. Anything leaked would be suspect and subject to change anyway. And depending on where development is the developers probably don't even know themselves.

However looking at the system requirements for SFIV and SFV it does seem like they target some fairly old hardware as the minimum (relative to their release). So based on what I'm seeing with the previous games I'd guess a GTX 970/1050 ti/1060 as a minimum.

These games are best by casting a wide net which means pretty low bar of entry hardware-wise.

Sure, it's a long shot but I'm just hoping someone with inside-information can tell me what to expect. Things get leaked. But I also heard that if you know what game engine is used to develop the game that you know what to expect in terms of system requirements.

Set yourself a budget and get the best thing you can within it, and hope.

Yeah probably that will be my only option since SF6 will likely come out next year. Anyway, thanks.

It might not be an unreasonable guess. But it's still just a guess. Although chances are that SFVI isn't the game that forces people to upgrade decent hardware from 2021.

Streetfighter 6 is not expected to release until sometime in 2022, and thats just speculative. Maybe a little early to be buying a machine for it.
