Either he's using a fairly common and easily identifiable mouse. Or no one really really cares. I guess the question is why should that specific information be anywhere? And besides he's probably a good player regardless of mouse, so even less incentive to focus on that.
On the other hand he's probably got social media or other resources, you could always ask him. Or maybe ask about it on StarCraft forums, if he's a pro that anyone cares about someone probably knows.
for me at least, i can only effectively play with finger or claw hold types.
for example razer naga is high tech device, but form makes it unusable...
btw, there is nothing bad about ball mouse, considering it has the right form, i used those 2.
