I'm kind of torn because I want to use Live Dash.

True but I'm trying illicit opinions from people who have already used it.

For updating all mainboard driver, bios and maybe asus aura sync its usefull. Everything else not needed.

That seems to be the problem, from what I've read, some portions of the software have their uses while others are unnecessary. It's a shame they don't allow to download only what you want rather than the all or nothing approach.

But does it matter? Dont uses portions like game booster whatever. Use only things you need. These few mb wasted on your drive does nothing. It doesnt run in backround or scans for anything. I use it only once every month to upgrade possible drivers.

That's why I'm asking to get all possible angles before I decide what I'm going to do.

I used it when I first installed Windows 10. The whole "your motherboard has a package to help set up your OS" blew my mind at the time since it was a new concept to me. Unfortunately, it seemed to fail consistently to properly install a number of drivers for me, but it did get a lot of them. It causes no harm. I used it for nothing but updating the drivers.

I got it for my Prime A x299 only for the LED"s to not be rainbow puke. Other than that I don't use it for anything else. But I installed it myself and did not have it pre installed.

I found this article when I started searching around the net for insight on this program from a couple of years ago. I'm still working on my build so I haven't fired it up yet to look at the UEFI.
