Best pc mic to attach to my headphones or should i just get a desktop mic is it better ?

Yes my room has a loud fan or fans. Even my pc is a little loud. Though I use headphones all the time so don't care. It does not bother me. Just making sure the sound buzzing sound is not super loud when using a mic. No I am not getting a headset I like my current headphones.

Wireless has a Micro USB connection. Can be charged whilst in use. Recommended to be secured on the right earcup so the Micro USB port faces down for charging. I never need to charge it while in use as I use it for 5/6 hours max so I secured it on the left as that's where I'm used to having my mics.

According to specs the battery lasts 12+ hours. I don't use it for that long, 5/6 hours max and then it's on charge to ensure it's fully charged for my next session. In theory it should last me 2 complete sessions but as I wanted it on the left side I'd rather not have to charge it in use

Not to my knowledge no. Both the same it's just the interface that differs.

if your headphones use a 3.5mm jack like this one[www.amazon.com] you can get the Vmoda Boompro[www.amazon.com] and it will replace your 3.5mm headphone cable, convenient

on the cheap side the generic lapel mics like this[www.amazon.com], this[www.amazon.com] or this[www.amazon.com] work very well and you can clip to where the cable meets the headphones. You can leave it there works great or you can clip to your collar if fan or keyboard noise is an issue.

I usually put a piece of electrical tape on the cable to cushion the clip teeth and secure the cable to the headphone with small zip or twist ties. Also check out Noise Gator[sourceforge.net], you can set your input threshold if the fans are being picked up by the mic

I wouldn't get an XLR one, because they require their own power supplies, which cost >30 quid, and come out to more in the end. While they can be better quality (audio wise), they're usually marginally better than USB.

The only thing I see being a problem is my monitor may get blocked a little.

The pickup pattern will only really pick things up infront (or slightly angled to the side) of the microphone, and it doesn't really pick up fan noise anyway. And if it does, you just change your noise gate settings in the program you're using, so it doesn't pick anything up.

For reference, I have a Razer keyboard with Green switches (clicky, like blues), and a 3D printer to the left of me (about 4 foot away), and my PC to the right of me (about 2 foot away), and its got it's fans running 100%, and it picks none of it up. The only time you'll hear anything, is when I speak (which activates the noise) and allows the 3D printer to be heard, the keyboard is directly behind the microphone (where it doesn't pick up) and cannot really be heard.
The fans aren't heard at all.

I am extremely impressed by this microphone.

It dosesn't really block your monitor at all, since you move it towards your face, keeping the microphone about ~5 inches away from your mouth, and you can position it slightly lower than your eyeline, which means it doesn't block your monitor.
The only time I've had issues with it blocking my (second) monitor, are when I fold the arm to move it out of the way when I'm not using it, so that I can lean back in my chair and watch something.
Which, at that point, the 2nd monitor isn't being used either.
