Lenovo - G25-10 vs Asus - TUF Gaming VG249Q?

Both of the monitor monitor are on Bestbuy. The Lenovo G25-10 [www.bestbuy.com] is for $130 and it got 144hz and a TN Panel while the Asus TUF [www.bestbuy.com] also 144hz but an IPS Panel and would go on sale for $170 during Thanksgiving Week. Should I just go with the Lenovo cause its pretty cheap for 144hz? Any difference with TN and IPS Panel? I would just be casual gaming mostly on shooter games.

is all you do game? if you consume any media content at all like anime or tv shows/movies/etc, then go with the IPS panel no question. Actually, if I'm not mistaken, IPS has overtaken TN for gaming as well, so not just color reproduction but response times/etc.

If I couldn't put out $170 cause of my budget, you think the TN Monitor would be still good or I should go for an IPS anyways? I would just be gaming and watch like videos and movies but won't be like editing or none of that.
