realtek hd audio manager (resolved)

when i go onto the page, my equalizer usually comes up, now this appears

any idea why? (all drivers r up to date)

Either use the Nahimic driver in order to enable the sound effects...

or install a realtek hd driver without Nahimic in order to get the standard equalizer back.

will i have to remove nahimic 2 and nahimic vr as well?

Not necessarily,
on my audio manager, i have 2 "sound effect" tabs... + 1 "room correction" option

one has the regular equalizer and the other has the nahimic sound effects, i can basically use both.

Your audio manager seems incomplete, so i would redownload the manager and or drivers, from MSI or the Realtek website.

i just re installed but "launch nahimic audio user interface" on realtek hd audio manager still appears, it also don't show up anywhere... it was all working fine until a large windows update appeared ;(

Yes windows seem to have taken complete control of the realtek manager .

The equalizer etc has to be downloaded from MS store . and its pretty basic.

Thats with an X570 Steel legend mind you . So could well be wrong .

yes for me it does so, however, i only use the normal equalizer anyway, i have no use for Nahimic

If using VR, this uses your GPU audio if it plugs into that, do it uses its own via USB if your VR only plugs into USB and not to GPU HDMI.

i guess by switching to a driver without Nahimic or installing an older realtek audio manager.

alright, i'll guess i'll just keep it as i've fixed the equalizer and don't wanna mess it up again

Nahimic 2 and VR is bugged and unsupported. You must uninstall this as that conflics with many games especially released before 2011 if you REALLY want Nahimic it MUST be from Windows Store only btw most MSI crapware unnesessary and useless, he need only SCM App, Steel Series App or Dragon Center - for keyboard backlight, macros setup and maybe once a year... for battery calibration.
