8bitdo sn30 pro + not working on Big Sur

My controller is connected via bluetooth but does not do anything when in steam. Sometimes randomly a button will work but it's pretty much as good as dead. I power on my controller in MacOS mode, the controller shows up in the Steam Preferences' controller menu as a PS4 dual shock.

I've tried launching Big Screen mode and installing the drivers but it says I need to allow Valve/Ambrosia but they are not popping up in my Security/Privacy settings? Anyone with similar problems find a way to fix this? I just stated a new game + on Blasphemous and I'm going insane. ㅠㅠ

Edit: I should note that it was working fine before I updated to Big Sur. I also run OpenEmu and use the same controller with no issues.

I have the same problem I don't see that button "Allow" when when i try to install steam input package in macOS Big Sur. In Big picture mode I see that this is my PS3 controller and everything works fine but in games such as Grid Autosport and Tomb raider - the controller is detectable but not working properly

in the extension system folder it shows me that the drivers are installed but each time I run Big Picture mode it asks me to install the drivers

in previous versions of mac OS (Mojang) everything worked fine and I saw this "Allow" button

Initially I though it may have been a problem with my controller specifically, but it is most definitely a Steam issue with Big Sur. As I mentioned above, I have no issues with my controller on OpenEmu. I guess they need to do an update to resolve the issue. I hope it comes soon.
