Yes, but there is no sign to remove it or any corner to have grip, and nowhere mention to remove it, probably every ROG gpu has that sticker all over backplate, i received used car with that sticker so dont know should i peal it or leave it, becouse previous user didnt pealed it

From ASUS's own site:
https://rog.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1007947

Q: I purchased the Asus graphics card, The back of the graphics card with a layer of protective film, Will need to remove this layer of protective film it?

A:Remove Protective Film Before Use , Otherwise would affect the cooling effect

Although to be fair, no where in the manual does it say to remove the protective stickers.

If you don't mind potential burning plastic, leave it there.

Looking at various ROG 2080ti hardware unboxings it looks like the only protective sticker is on the back. I don't own one though so I could be incorrect.

Well if there is one on the logo it wont affect cooling much if at all. The backplate one on the other hand will affect the cooling rate.

It's common sense to look for and remove that from electronics. They come with that on various parts to help protect against scratches while the product is packaged and during shipping and unboxing. Even dvd/bluray players for TV had that stuff on it.

Its not common sense, sometimes its looks like protective film, for example Samsung foldable, while you make mistake and accidently peal off decorate sticker itself or damage it, there is no markings anywhere you have to peal it off, you dont know how card is designed and maybe its supose to be there, becouse even previous owner that had that card used with that sticker, so this means its not very clear
