What ram do i got???
So i knew for 5 years that i have ddr3 and i went to a store and let them order +4gb for me. And now i was checking out things and found on cpu z that its ddr4.
But speccy says this:
8,00GB Single-Channel Unknown @ 1063MHz (15-15-15-36)

And uhh i thought that ddr4s are 2133+ mhz

Always check before purchasing, you should never blindly purchase.
Often software will show the RAM speed as half of what it actually is; given the number you showed, that would likely be 2133.
Go to Task Manager, Performance, click on Memory - you'll see the active running speed.

Download CPU-Z and use that to find out as well
And your RAM would be 2133, its 1062x2 which lines up with 2133

Knowing what CPU you have would also indicate what RAM you would have.

Turn off the computer, unplug the pc, press the power button a few times, and look at the stickers on the ram. Pull one out if necessary to look at it.

Funny everyone talks about ram speed but import part is how on earth ddr4 fits in ddr3 slots and works? ;)

post a cpuz validation link
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
cpuz -> validate button -> submit button
it will open a browser, copy the url (address) and paste it here

1063MHz (15-15-15-36) = ddr2133 cl15
those specs are ddr4

i would highly suggest getting a much better kit over a single dimm that will be nerfed to that dimms specs

but it may also be a laptop which would need so-dimms, cpuz valid link would show a laptop cpu/mobo

Wait l can not understand what are you talking about, Your cpu is supporting DDR4 but you have DDR3 Ram so you can not put DDR 4 ram in motherboard which is using DDR3

If you read the full post you wouldn't even be asking this.

1063 is approx 1067, which in - turn IS 2133. As ddr speed is always X2
