Bluescreen yay
Aite, im not a wizard who understands magic strings of letters and numbers, so i'll lay it out for ya and see if you know what caused my bluescreen.

I was playing Monster Hunter World and noticed that when rendering DSR 4X native resolution in borderless my render latency was at 30ms, I was assuming this was what caused the game to feel like 50 fps when it was in the 80 FPS. My regular resolution is 1920x1080 but cmon 4k looks better. I did some quick searching on the interwebs and found that games in borderless window or in window cause more render latency due to windows something something. I attempted Fullscreen mode and badabing badaboom game crash.

There popped up an error saying something along the lines of(It was kinda small text due to the rendering in 4X native resolution and stuff so might be a little inaccurate, but it did say memory I know this much): MEMORY OVERRUN

Shortly after pc go kaboom and do a reboot.

Specs:
ryzen 7 3700x
rtx 3080
16gb 3200mhz ram
game located on harddrive
windows located on ssd
Gpu temp: barely ever above 70 Celcius
cpu temp: max 80 Celcius
No overclocking (except ram which im running at 3200mhz in DOCP, but according to hyperx this should be fine)

Good luck and have fun :D

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I also turned on Low latency mode before trying Fullscreen mode. This might be an important variable.

This is probably best posted in the game forum for MHW.

That said try updating chipset drivers then gpu. It is most likely the gpu that is giving the error, try reducing the settings and taking some work away from it.

If it doesn't happen all the time, don't worry about it. If it does start by reinstalling VC.
Alright, thanks maite
