Switch internal mouse profiles?
This is silly. But I can't see how to do it. I have a new Logitech G604 mouse. It can have 5 profiles in its memory. It also uses the new G HUB software. I do not see a button for switching profiles when on a PC without G HUB installed. There must be a way.

iirc, youll need to bind a key to swap profiles in each profile

in profile x, gkey = profile x+1
for the last profile, gkey = profile 1

Thanks. Since I posted, I found the profile cycle command and bound it. It says this binding will apply to all profiles. That makes sense. But nothing is changing when I press it. Maybe my second profile is not really stored. I knew how to use the previous software, Then they changed it. Grrrrrrr.

agreed, lgs was cake to config and bind commands, ghub made the simple things near impossible to do

Think you need to have profiles set for the application/task

If on desktop you'd need more than 1 profile set. So Desktop default, Desktop 2, Desktop 3, Desktop 4, Desktop 5

Same goes for a game, if you load GameA you'd need the GameA default + others.

I'd check but after setting the **** GHUB software I saved profiles directly to the mouse so I don't need it. And to think the Logitech hasn't changed to dozen or so things I complained about when I beta tested it. Can't even use right click to navigate quicker with a mouse that has 10+ buttons.

LGS was sooooo much better.

I am kinda thinking that using the GHUB software overrides the internal profile switching. I had the profile switching set to a button. But it keeps reverting. I give up for today. I will fight with it tomorrow. I will have to find some guides.

Sure there was a setting in there that you can toggle automatic switching if you load a game for example. Selecting a profile only changed it when you where configuring it that profile and then it'd revert to what ever is the default.

Online tutorials are likely the better option as I am very rusty on GHUB

Thanks. I found that setting already and played with it. But nothing happened.

only ghug/lgs can change profiles depending on whats running
the mouse profiles are stored in the mouse, can work on any pc without ghub and will not know whats running

with ghub running it overrides any other mouse configs

Don't happen to have Persistent Profile toggled on do you? If it is cycling won't do a thing.
