How do you download Steam onto your Xbox One

Starting to have a serious headache here I don't know how to download Steam on my Xbox One so that I can download a few games like Dead by daylight and play on my original account instead Xbox One's me to download the dead by daylight Xbox version and use a new account but I don't want to start over so I want to use my account can someone please help I'm having trouble Xbox don't want to cooperate with steam

Well, after looking into it seems the only way you really get this working is to stream your games from Steam.... which I hope you don't have limited data and you aren't doing it over a wifi connection but just googling it I found this.

You can't download Steam on your XBox One any more than you can use the Apple store on an Android phone.

How were you even under the impression that this would be possible in the first place?

I believe that the PS3 was the only console ever to have a variation of Steam on it, and that was just for Portal 2 if i remember correctly.

Steam games are for PC only (Windows / Mac / Linux)

You can stream to a Smart TV, Phone, Tablet, Laptop... from the main Gaming PC. Or you can install Steam Mobile to have access to Store, Friends, Profile, Community Forums; on those such devices where Steam Client can't run on.

Another reason XBOX is pointless to me and I don't see many uses at all in the world for it.

PC you have many places to get games from and also cheap, not just during sale periods. Plus you can buy Xbox Pass and have all those Xbox games on a Win10 PC.

It's impossible becuz Steam and XB1 are two completely different platforms. Your best option is through streaming as suggested above.

you can stream from teh xbo to the pc, or pc to xbo, but not play pc games natively on the xbo
the xbo downloads xbo versions of the games not the pc versions

With consoles they're rigidly controlled. So it's usually really obvious if you can do something, and both Steam and Box would have info how to do it. And if they don't, and it's not obvious how to do the thing you're asking, and you already don't think it would be possible, but hope there's a (long shot) chance. You're already 99% of the way there.
