How to store newly bought tube of thermal paste??

Well i just recently bought a new tube of thermal paste as i found out that my low spec laptop in which i play games is heating beyond formal levels.And i don't plan to use it any sooner.So any of you have any sugession that you can share here?Currently i store it in my metal cupboard.

Away from sunlight, so just put it in a drawer and it will do just fine.

Store it in a cool dark place. By cool i mean room temp. Not to hot and not to cold.

thermal paste is ment to get to 100+c
hot is fine, and light doesnt hurt the paste either

Store in a pill bottle or whatever nose down, nothing to sweat over.

What do you guys have to say about a metal cupboard? I am storing it there now and it's ok,right?

i store mine in a baggie in a plastic bin, so if one leaks it does not make a mess

Pretty much anywhere. I would avoid direct sunlight though.

I store mine in a plastic tray in a drawer, works fine for the 3+years I've had it.

I may be doing it wrong but have keep tubes of Arctic MX4 paste in a sealed plastic bag and cardboard box for 2 years and reused them without apparent problems.

I noticed that it takes a couple of days for the paste to bed in with a new cooler installation. I saw average temperatures go down by about 10 degrees after time so there may some curing process happening.
