Windows 10 Version 2004
I finally received the option to update to version 2004. Is it stable? What's the general consensus around this update?

if what you have works, keep it

I'd suggest to first make a fresh Win10 64bit 2004 usb flash drive. Then DDU wipe all drivers in safe mode. Reboot and update to 2004 via the flash drive.

Even just doing an upgrade, ive had 0 issues with it
But keep in mind that many settings will be reset so you may have to redo some of them.

Only issue I had was it not recording when my drives had been optimised, Defragged/Trimmed. Even if I did it manually it'd show the date&time but after a reboot it's show as Never ran.

I believe an update earlier this week fixed it.

It's generally stable now, but that doesn't guarantee it'll be OK on a given machine. Like many,, I had problems with the Disk "never run" issue, multiple ESENT id 642 warnings at every re/start, and the Photo app malfunctioning. So annoying.

I moved to Insiders Beta ring, all is good. 20H2 (our next release build) runs very well.
