New gaming laptop help

Hi everyone . I'm new to PC gaming . I bought what I thought was a good gaming laptop but it seems it can't even run one game I'm trying to play smoothly. It's basically unplayable by how choppy and slow it runs.

I am running a AMD Ryzen 5 3550H with Radeon Vega Mobile GFX 2.10 GHz
Installed memory (ram) 8.00 GB (7.81gb useable)
64 bit operating system ,x64 based processor

Should this not be able to run the new game Grounded no problem or what ?

If anyone has any advice for me I would greatly appreciate it. Sorry I am beyond a noob when it come to gaming pc's and specs

Yup, no problem at all.
It's not the best gaming rig, but very decent.

The specs for that game don't look particularly demanding. HOWEVER, it is a game that is still in EARLY ACCESS, and it simply might not work.

I'd suggest first going to that game's forum hub and ask about problems or search there first.

Is that the ONLY game that you cannot run? Are there others? I only see a few posts by you in the forum at all, and I'm not sure whether your other threads were ever answered, but if you have games that DO run, it may just be that that specific game is not yet in a playable state, as is clearly shown on its store page.

Thanks , I hope to be able to play someday . I can't afford a new one a d this one canbot even run grounded . It's so choppy the audio cuts out and Is literally unplayable . Do you have any recommendations of who I can talk to to try and figure out why is runs like ♥♥♥♥ . ?

It's the only one I've tried long enough . I've play a little don't starve hamlet and it seems to be smoother but still skips and has some trouble .

I've seen many people posting videos online and they have very smooth, nice gameplay and it's unplayable on mine.

I will have to try my other games again to see if they run better . I recall them struggling as well .

It was suggested you ask your questions in the discussion forum for that specific game.

Find out what systems other prople are using. It might be a wide-spread issue at this stage of early access.

do check powercord is on and you change up, or laptop will be use max power saving mode.
check power supply that green led is on if you have such.
