Make sure power to the monitor,or tv is on first. If it is a bright white led,it means it thinks no monitor is hooked up.Mine did that and I have to turn my monitor on before I power on my pc

Did you bother reading the instructions for the motherboard or search for Q-LED? :/

VGA LED light is always ON after power on(indicates no Graphics Card or Graphics Card faulty)

One persons fix was to
"I solved my issue with this. The board is a week old. The white led VGA light was on suddenly. I did have a d-port to the monitor and the HDMI had a cable it as it was attached to a TV previously. I rebooted and took out the HDMI, but it wasn't fixed. What I did was powered off the PSU and removed all the cables. Powered on/off and then added the d-port back. It was fixed.

So, my fix was to power cycle the PSU."

Seems its a common issue when using DP.

Well
Your PC may not like your monitor, or the cable itself is the issue

Can you try a different cable or just use HDMI instead?

try reseating the gpu in the pcie slot.. only time i've had similar problems was when the gpu wasn't seated properly

Some of my motherboard had such leds that stay on after posting fully. They should have an led option in the bios. When disabled the debug leds should turn off after it does the debug checking during the bios posting process.

Then its likely as i said, your PC doesnt like your monitor.

Re seating the GPU as mentioned above is an option

Otherwise you'll either have to put up with the LED, or place a small piece of electrical tape on it to block the brightness.

It's likely because your PC is booting faster than your monitor can wake up so it thinks you don't have a monitor. That's how I fixed mine, by turning on the LG monitor before turning on the PC
Your display is booting slower than your pc. Turn your display on and let it light up before you boot your pc.

You should also check the dp cable fully inserted, sometimes if the gpu is not correctly centered in the case slot the edge of the slot will prevent the cable from going fully in.

never had this issue until i changed my displayport cable to a new + longer one. the original one i used was the cable which came with the monitor, but it was too short so i changed it. everything is functional, but the vga light was continuously on the motherboard while running.

the "turn your display on first before booting your pc" tip helped, so thanks to whoever suggested that despite my response being several months later lol.

Yes, always turn any Displays on before turning the PC on.
It's like an issue with Digital vs Analog. Analog devices such as VGA or 3.5mm Audio Jack based devices; are kept alive by the GPU or Audio device itself. Digital such as HDMI, DP, USB of any kind are hot-pluggable and may disappear from the system when unplugged. When your Monitor is HDMI or DP and it remains off while you allow a PC to boot into the OS, the OS doesn't even see a Display until you turn it on and/or plug it in. Doing this doesn't generally hurt anything, but when its your only Display for example, your OS has to then detect the Display again when you plug it in, or turn it on (if PC is on and OS already booted into); what this ends up doing is screwing up whatever Desktop icons placement you had. Plus it's possible that the correct Screen Res + Refresh Rate might not be correct until changed. If you just turn your Displays on before powering on your PC, you can avoid such issues. I simply leave all Displays on, they go to Sleep when there is no signal for about 5 secs. such as when you turn the PC off or put the PC into Sleep Mode.

Most Motherboard BIOS also have a setting you can change that after the startup process check has completed, that all of those Motherboard LEDs go off. So check your BIOS settings.
