Ray Tracing is still new tech, if nobody bought the 20xx series, we would not see tech advances. The gain from 10xx to 20xx was enough to be noticed, but not worth it if you had a 10xx.. I had a 7xx series, thus for me, it was time for an upgrade.. again it really depends on what is cost benefit, if you have 1080p, then these new cards are pointless tbh.. unless you sit on a very very old card.
What programs are you using for you render and are the three 4k monitors any good?
Heck yes!!!! I need my 3090 now.

Nice. Seems like a good workstation. What do you use at home for gaming?
So if Nvidia's claims turn out to be true then the used GPU market will be turned inside out. The knock effect will continue through to the lower tiers Nvidia or AMD. Also who's going to pay retail price of £200 for a new RX 5500 XT or GTX 1650 Super?
right now I'm using 1070 Ti , 1080p 60Hz.
