2. For the motherboard, yes
3. Nope. All good I believe
4. 64 bit has a tonne of improvement benefits. I'd onlt ever go for 32 bit if you have a really old pc or you're on a REALLY tight budget
- CPU
- Motherboard and BIOS
- Operating System
- Etc.
If the motherboard supports over 4GB of RAM then you're all set.
Ive done alot of research and I am so scare to ruin my PC so all your advice is very appreciated. I stream and have been making a V. small income so i'm trying to invest more and hope to expand that.
As for your files, you will want to back up all files you do do not already have backups for or that can't be downloaded after upgrading as you will want to do a clean OS install after replacing the mobo.
2. Yes, Yes and the new mobo will come with a driver CD/DVD, ignore it and download the latest drivers for your mobo, gpu and any other expansion cards you have from the manufacturers site as any drivers you have on CD/DVD will most definatly be out of date. Download these on to a CD/DVD/USB stick before performing the upgrade.
4. Yes, a 32bit OS will only recognise 4GB RAM, your 1050Ti has 4GB and you are buying a single 8GB stick, installing a 32bit OS would be beyond illogical.
Let's see..
The free 6700k is a good start, bet the setup... well you could do a better job.
The h110 limits the intel k feature, go with z170 or z270.
Cooler nothing fancy, but you could buy a better one for the i7.
The psu is crap, for +/- the same price you could buy a decent 500w gold unit.
All drivers you need are coming with the hardware, only updates are up to you.

And to make it easier, what's your max. budget?
Max budget is like super super low, Kinda have to save a little at a time, do you know a motherboard for around 40-60 that wont limit the processor?
The cheapest z board is ~ 86.
What's your budget for the upgrade btw.?
I mean, if you want to spend the extra 20 bucks just to be safe
I know to backup some save files but I am hearing I might need to buy windows 10 again. and when I turn my PC back on after putting new parts do I have to do anything to make it run correctly?
1. Do I need a new copy of Win 10?
2. do I have to download anything?
3. When I first start up my PC after installing parts is there anything I need or should do?
4. Any other important advice?
5. Do I need a Wifi card? or is there one I can use from the stock PC? (HP Pavilion 550-153w Desktop PC)
Here's what i'm changing:
Current Rig: HP Pavilion 550-153w Desktop PC

Based on those changes/upgrades can you please answer the above questions.
****This is what I'm working with based on parts giving to me and affordable. So don't tell me the rig sucks. I know its not perfect. But I'm making due so helpful advice please.****
yes. it seems you arent even close to being good informed about what you are going to do so better stay away until you are. why you guys are trying things without any basic knowledge is beyond me. this isnt meant to be offensive but might save you from a very costly adventure.
cheers
